BEDROCK 3D rPET combines sustainability with top-tier performance. Made from recycled PET post-industrial waste, this filament delivers excellent mechanical properties and a sleek, a really nice transparent blueish look, just like virgin PET, but eco-friendlier.

Whether you’re printing art objects, jigs, fixtures, automotive parts, or functional prototypes, rPET delivers the look, feel, and performance of our virgin PET, while helping reduce environmental impact. rPET material is a great choice when dimensional accuracy is important. Like virgin PET toughness and temperature resistance are well balanced for the majority of applications.

The filament is transparent and parts will be translucent. Great to use in combination with lights.

Food-Safe

rPET is based on food-safe raw materials (granulate), which are suitable for food contact applications according to the European Plastics Regulation.

Please note: The “r” in rPET stands for recycled, BEDROCK 3D rPET is made from post-industrial recycled PET waste. Because the raw material stream is recycled, color consistency is not as guaranteed as with virgin materials. Due to this, the color can vary from batch to batch.

  • Print Speed: 30 – 150** mm / s** To achieve faster printing speeds, it may be necessary to raise the nozzle temperature. The highest speed mentioned has been determined through our latest tests, ensuring optimal surface quality with a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer height. Please note that as printing technology and equipment evolve, we anticipate the possibility of achieving even faster speeds in the future.
