FAQ
BEDROCK 3D PPSU pushes the boundaries of what’s possible with FFF printing. While other polymers may fail under high heat or harsh environments, PPSU maintains strength, safety, and stability. That’s why it’s a go-to choice for aerospace, railway, and advanced industrial applications. From sterilizable medical tools to components exposed to hot fluids or demanding conditions, PPSU ensures your designs perform where it matters most.
The BASF Ultrason® resins are amorphous thermoplastics derived from polyethersulfone (PESU), polysulfone (PSU) and poly- phenylsulfone (PPSU) and ensure very high thermal resistance. BEDROCK 3D PPSU can be succesfully utilized in applications where other plastics, such as polyamide, polycarbonate, polyoxymethylene and polyalkylene terephthalates, fail to meet performance specifications.
