Medical Insoles | Insolution

The goal was to develop a custom Foaming TPU filament that combines strength with optimal flexibility, is fully safe for direct skin contact (medical grade), and performs consistently and reliably on the GO1 3D printer, even at scale. The result? BEDROCK 3D Foaming TPU.

BEDROCK 3D Foaming TPU is an advanced 3D printing material that delivers the flexibility of traditional TPU with the added benefit of significant weight reduction. Unlike other foaming materials, this filament features an integrated foaming agent that activates while printing, but does not react on various print temperatures that ensures consistent foaming behavior. This constant, reliable foaming sets a new standard for lightweight TPU filament in the market.

Efficient by design: Less Material, More Output

t’s a simple calculation: less material in, same performance out. Smart, efficient, and cost-effective. Thanks to it’s expansion rate of up to 100%, Foaming TPU allows you to use up to 50% less filament for the same part volume. That means when you buy 1 kg of Foaming TPU, you can print as much as you normally would with approximate 2 kg of standard TPU. Furthermore, the material requires no drying, saving you valuable time in your production cycle.
